Can I try NameShouts for free?

Absolutely. Every NameShouts user gets access to 50 searches every month. We’re building a world of seamless cross-cultural connections: part of that is empowering everyone to treat others with respect.

If I don’t find the name on NameShouts, will it count?

No. We only count successful searches so you don’t have to pay if you don’t get results.

If I search for the same name twice, does that count?

You can listen to the audio of the name as many times as you want. But, if you search for the same name again, then it does count as a successful search.

What do you mean by priority name requests?

Priority name requests help you get access to the names you need, as soon as possible. When a "Power plan" customer requests a missing name, it's flagged as a priority in our system: that way, we can get it uploaded sooner rather than later.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can change or cancel your plan at any time using the dashboard. Once you have canceled, you'll still have access to your premium plan until the end of your subscription month.

What about searches made using the NameShouts browser extension?

Searches are counted the same way wherever they are done, using the web app, the API or the NameShouts browser extension.
